Accessibility
MattyTK Maps aims to provide a website that is usable by as many people as reasonably possible. The site is designed with keyboard navigation, visible focus states, responsive text and layouts, semantic page structure, reduced-motion preferences, labels for form fields, and text information alongside interactive controls.
Interactive maps
Interactive maps can present accessibility challenges. Important map locations should include meaningful names, types, or descriptions whenever possible. If map information is difficult to access with your assistive technology, contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to provide the information in another format.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time claim of perfect conformance. New features should be tested for keyboard operation, readable contrast, mobile use, zoom, and assistive technology compatibility before being considered complete.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email contact@mattytk.dev. Please include the page you were using, what went wrong, and the browser or assistive technology involved if you are comfortable providing that information.
